Clip-on EMI gaskets with water seal

This range of easily mountable clip-on gaskets is composed of a separate sponge rubber water seal and an EMI-shielding side of highly conductive, wear-resistant metallised fabric.

The construction is very flexible thanks to the hollow rubber, so a low closure force is required.

The gasket is assembled without tools, simply by pressing the section by hand onto the metal bead of your enclosure.

A flame-retardant (UL94V0) version is also available.

Clip-on gaskets K6531/K6541

The K6500 series clip-on gaskets are cost-effective materials to shield doors and lids. The gasket is delivered flat. By marking the position on the enclosure you can regulate the gap yourself.

In most cases they can be used as an alternative to the highly expensive and toxic Beryllium copper finger strips.

The K6500 series clip-on gaskets consist of a neoprene foam core covered with reinforced foil.

For optimum grounding and shielding, one leg is provided with conductive self-adhesive. The other leg has non-conductive self-adhesive.

The gasket can make angles in two planes where a small radius is sufficient. A 90-degree angle is even possible in certain cases. Temperature range is about –40 to +110° C.

Finger Strip :

For high performance applications, Beryllium, copper fingers, strip soffer the best EMI shielding effectiveness used in right construction. The mechanical spring characteristics far surpass all other gaskets in the industry, but due to the toxicity of Beryllium, these strips are not always allowed. Therefore many shapes are also available in stainless steel. The contact of the Beryllium copper finger strip tolerates a wiping or sliding action, so it

is ideal for applications where frequent opening and closing operations are likely. The product comes in wide range of profile and also available in various plated versions. Standard lengths of 406 mm, some shapes are also in 610 mm. Or even on rolls.
