Materials for shielded ENCLOSURES and PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS

Many EMI problems can be solved easily by the use of conductive foils. They can be used for shielding side panels of large enclosures, but also many more options are available because they can be die-cut in a variety of shapes.

Options

Flame retardant version

With (conductive) self-adhesive backing with insulation layer

Possible applications: PCB shielding, small fold-boxes for sensitive components, with a flame retardant insulation on the inside. Folded insulated envelopes around PCBs, shielded displays (transparent conductive foils), any many more.

Laminates of metal foils with flame retardant Nomex insulation are also available.

PCB / compartment shield

Another application is a highly conductive foil laminated with a high deflection, low closure force foam layer. The rigidity of the housing is used to shield the separations on the PCB combinations with conductive fabrics or non-woven are also available.
