Surface |

The surface for glass textile wall coverings must be dry, clean, firm and even.
Fill out and smooth over holes dents with wall filler.
Small cracks may be simply pasted over.
Remove old wall coverings completely.
On surfaces, which are absorbent or not completely stable, prime with penetrating stopper. (Containing solvent)

Cutting |
|
|
|
Cut widths from the roll with wallcovering scissors or cutter.
Leave 5-10 cm extra leeway.

|
|
|
 |
Adhesive |
|
|
|
Use only special glass textile wall covering adhesives, dilute adhesive with some water if needed.
Apply adhesive generously and evenly with the sheepskin roller.

|
|
 |
Fixing |
|
|
|
Lay the glass fiber textile on the moist adhesive surface, press lightly with wall covering trowel.
|
|
|
 |
Edging |
|
|
|
Make sure glass fiber textile edges are not damaged.
Trim damaged edges with the cutter against steel straightedge.
|
|
|
 |
Flush Joints |
|
|
|
Keep edges exactly flush with each other.
Continuously match textile patterns at the seams.
|
|
|
 |
Finishing Corners and Edges |
|
|
|
Trim inner corners with the cutter ( along a wall covering trowel.)
Trim outer corners with the cutter along the corner edge.
Never glue flush on corners.

|
 |
Embedding (Base Coat) |
|
|
|
Apply diluted glass textile wall covering adhesive (add 15-20% water) or special glass textile wall covering primer with the roller and allow to dry.
|
|
|
 |
Choose Right Grade of Paint |
|
|
|
Select paint type and grade to meet specific utility and wear requirements.
Use no cheap paints with high filler content, because they clog the fabric texture.
|
|
|
 |
Color Coating |
|
|
|
Let embedding adhesive dry thoroughly before painting.
Rub down any protruding fibers.
Coordinate the intermediate coat material and color with the final coat.
Apply final coat uniformly with the roller and finish.
