| PROPERTIES : |
It is an ideal combination of TEXTILE GLASSFIBER and a special Copper-Screen.
The screening effect provided by this system reaches up to 99.99% , signifying
80db measured to MIL-STD 285. The average conductivity is 0.015 Ohm/m2. Sheilding
can be used in any room whereby the laying must be carefully controlled. Sheilding
can only develop it's screening effect when it is used for the entire surface of
the floors, walls and ceilings. Furthermore, openings in the walls, such as windows,
doors, cable conduits etc. must be specifically treated.

Protection for financial and government facilities against data misuse of sensitive
Hospital-medical equipment for rooms to be protected confidential discussions being overheard.

| SUBSTRATE : |
Plaster-board, mineral based substrates, wood, metals and many plastics PROCESSING :
Sealing and preparation of the substrate with e.g. PRIMER 131 CONCENTRATE for substrates which are mineral based. WALL PAPERING
Initially apply the Sheilding Glue 216/5, conductive. Quantity applied aprox :250-350 g/m2
depending on the substrate and grade of Fabric. The Sheilding Fabric is then laid in the
adhesive whilst still wet. In order to guarantee that the contact between the individual
rolls is perfect the. 5 cm overlapping copper strip should be completely covered by the
next roll. It should be ensured that the Glass textile fabrics of each roll are glued ensuring
that they touch each other exactly leaving no gap. Sheilding strips are used for making these
transitions between ceilings,walls and wall-floors.

1. COAT (PRIMER COAT) |
The Sheilding System Fabric is coated with solvent-free, neutral odour,
free from softeners. Concentration applied : 200-300 g/m2 depending on the Fabric grade.
2. COATING (TOP COAT) Depends on the demands required- |
Coating for normal demands (scruff resistant)
1-K Finish 233, matt or 1-K Finish 235, silk-matt
Amount used : 200-300 g/m2 depending on the Fabric grade or as recommended
Coating for high demands (high degree of scruff resistance)
2-K Finish 435, silk-matt, resistant to disinfectants, solvent-free, resistant to chemicals, light-fast and scarcely flammable to DIN 4102 B1
Amount used : 100-150 g/m2 per coat depending on the Fabric grade.

For chemical resistance it must be ensured that no pores occur whilst processing !
All materials can be applied using brush, roller or spray techniques.
